Not an expert on braces but my son had crooked teeth then they put the braces on him and now they are straight, they are still not done with his work but his teeth looked much straighter very quickly after having the braces. Looking forward to the finished results and him getting his braces off one day

I have a permanent retainer that I had put in by another orthodontist about 15 years ago and recently the cement holding it in place started to deteriorate. I came to Stamford Orthodontics to have it resealed. After the doctor came in and evaluated my retainer, we agreed I just needed some reinforcement glue. He sent in someone from the desk to take my credit card which I’ve never had happen at a doctors office. The new reinforcement took about 5 minutes, they shaved down my past glue and put in new glue and it cost me $250.

I thought this was a bit excessive but had already paid ahead of time. It was about 2 months ago and now some of the new glue has already broken off. When I asked about having this reinforced I was told I would be charged again and am really disappointed in the experience over all.

These guys do the best in their work. I'm very satisfied with the work. They are very organized and give a reasonable price for the installation of the braces. Highly recommend.

I recently completed my braces treatment with Dr. Drayer. While Dr. Drayer himself is a nice and cool person, my overall experience was just okay. At times, the process felt rushed, almost like an assembly line, which left me feeling like there was still room for improvement when they removed my braces.

I decided against getting permanent retainers because I didn’t like the idea of having something in my mouth long-term. Instead, I opted for regular retainers, which, by the way, you still have to pay for even after your treatment is done. Unfortunately, my retainers started breaking after only three months. When I called to get a replacement, I was quoted $725 for just one set. I ended up finding a better deal with my current dentist, who provided me with four sets for the same price, and the quality was noticeably superior.

Looking back, I wish I had chosen a different orthodontist for my braces treatment, but the cost to redo everything isn’t worth it at this point. If you’re considering braces, I highly recommend shopping around before making a decision. Also, I have to mention that the front desk staff was not very friendly, and I'd give them 1. 5 stars for their service.
