Poor customer service and interaction with insurance coverage incorrect reporting. Changed cleaning procedure to now force me to pay out of pocket when my insurance at least covered 2 cleanings per year at 100%. No warning on cost impact.

I'm never in the waiting room longer than 5 minutes. When I got my crowns, they weren't happy with the color match of one of those, sent it back to be remade at no additional cost.

I had a question about the cost of a procedure. I had a similar procedure in January and asked why it was double now. The billing person came in and was rude and disrespectful. I tried to ask my question and she told me to let her finish speaking and that I needed to hear her. I was seated and she stood in my way when I tried to get up and I just leave due to her hostile tone and I was feeling threatened. I told her I didn't appreciate the way she was speaking to me but that didn't seem to matter. I never did get to ask my question.

All I wanted to know was what was different about the procedure that it cost more. My insurance had not changed since the first procedure in January. She told me to call my insurance company. The dental office knew what they did in January and what was different in the new procedure and should have been able to tell me that. If they would have let me ask the question. I just wanted that answered.

Our family has been going to Summit Dental for over eight years. They are an extraordinary group of people. The ladies at the front desk have already been friendly and exceptionally helpful. The hygienists are kind and thorough. And the doctors are excellent. When one of our kids had an emergency they went over and above to take care of us. Highly recommend!
