I had been going to Dr. Swain for over 20 years. I referred at least five people to him Without even a thank you. I went several months ago with a toothache. He took xray, saw nothing and referred me to Endo. He did not check my gums. The next week still in pain went to Endo who took xray and saw nothing. He checked my gums and said they were inflamed. Charged $300. Went back to Swain for cleaning.
Hygienist said gums inflamed. Charged $400 ( they forgot to charge for 1st visit). . i called receptionist/office manager and was upset that he did not check my gums the first time. . it would of saved me $300! She said she would see what she could do. They did NOTHING! Dr. Swain has joined the "GREED EXPRESS". This fiasco cost me $700!! I am very disgusted and disappointed!

Other than a few minor hiccups with insurance, I love coming to this office. The staff is very sweet and highly educated. They really care about their patients. Dr Swain is nothing but professional, and understands the anxiety associated with going tonthe dentist. He does his best to make each visit pleasant and as pain free as possible.
