This was my best experience at Tend. I used to go down in the West Village and it was just fine, when I moved to the UWS I was considering going elsewhere. I figured I’d give this UWS location a try first.

There were a few things that stood out most to me; the kindness between employees and the way they worked together as a respectful team and the way I was treated as a client. I have never experienced a dental visit like this. The staff was amazing. Dr. Kate and her assistant Stephanie were so welcoming. Dr. Kate was very informative and provided me with clear and concise information. For a person like me who deals with anxiety I am looking forward to my followup visit.

Tend changed my life! I stumbled upon them when I lived in Brooklyn. I was going to their Downtown Brooklyn location. Prior to becoming a patient here I had two very bad experiences at other dentist that made me avoid it for about two years. I did explain that to my provider at TEND and they reassured me.

That reassurance was met with exceptional care each and every time! They were patient with me, compassionate, and really took their time to make sure I was okay and comfortable. Now I’m at UWS and the treatment is the absolute same!! I love it here and will not be going anywhere else.

I went to Tend in late 2022 due to pain. I needed a root canal but they had no appointments for two months, so I went elsewhere for the procedure. I returned to Tend to complete the treatment for a new dental bridge. The process was difficult because the temporary bridge kept falling out, and whenever I called, no one remembered who I was, so I had to keep explaining my situation. The actual bridge was finally cemented in, and I paid more than $6,000 out of pocket.

It seemed fine until a few weeks ago, when it started to feel loose. I went to a different dentist and the bridge came out in her hand! (A new dental bridge should last a minimum of 5 years, not 2. 5 as this one did. ) I had it re-cemented and I asked the dentist if the Tend bridge was good; she said it looked "okay. " This entire episode has been very stressful and I do not recommend Tend for anything more complex than a cleaning or a basic filling.

They are essentially a business built on venture-capital funding and are more focused on profit than patients. The cute digital stuff, the free water, and the tooth-brushing stations don't make up for poor medical service.
