Dr Bell and Michelle are the best! I hated my smile and didn’t smile much because of it. Now I don’t mind taking pictures, I don’t mind going to the dentist anymore, and most importantly I don’t mind smiling now, which is kinda nice lol. Thank you again Dr Bell and Michelle! Price, work, overall experience 10/10

My family began seeing Dr Bell when he opened his practice. Over those years I have had plenty of fillings and several crowns done by him and he has made every visit as comfortable and pain free as I think you possible could. He has a great “chair side manner. ” His staff is equally as thoughtful and friendly.
He is now slow walking into retirement, which he totally deserves. However, I fear he has set the standard so high that I may never feel as comfortable with any other dentist. He spoiled me!

If I could give 0 stars I would. So I’ll start by saying the star is for the consultation we had with a different dentist that is now in paternity leave they said. Today was my daughters 3rd visit to this dentist, whom I was recommended to go to by my daughters school. Learning that they have an agreement and do pro bono work for them. The first appt for teeth removal was so intense for my daughter & us as parents. We experienced very similar visits when going today for the last pull and a filling. Mind you she’d already went last week & got 2 pulled! & I as a mother cried for her & with her because even though she needed it, it didn’t have to be like that. Dr Gordon Bell has zero sympathy for children that are scared to death. So today my daughter literally went ghost white and had to go to the bathroom to pull herself together. We repeated positive affirmations from then on. She asked how many shots he said 1, but she didn’t believe him and he said have I ever lied to you? Yes, yes you did through the entire last visit. … She tried so hard to sit back but she was terrified. I held her hands and tried to relax her. Dr Gordon Bell held her head and shoulders down by force & she said please stop holding my head just stop. & he didn’t.
He did prepare the needle for numbing and my daughter said wait where’s the cream first? He said this is a different procedure. It wasn’t. 2 teeth pulled last verses 1 pulled and another filling. Which he admitted would always both be done numb. He purposely didn’t put the cream on this time & then refused even though he should have done it to help. He was completely agitated with a child. He said oh this happens all the time. During our time in the office he has said things like you don’t have a choice. You are acting like a baby. I will make your parents leave. This is my house my rules. No you can’t sit up. You’re wasting time. We aren’t doing this again. & then today he threw his hands up after awhile & let her go saying that’s it I’m not doing this.
&& thennnnnn said to me, & the next thing I’ll do is call CYS. I asked why and he said I am neglectful to my child. He said because you baby her. & told me to leave. I asked for someone else & every employee basically avoiding the situation. One said well he’s on leave. I was mortified by a dentist professional to treat my daughter with such cold manner & then to threaten me. I did call the police because i at that very moment felt like he’d harmed my child. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD OR YOURSELF HERE. && SHARE so that no other has to go through that. & yes my daughter has a dentist that will put her under but her appt was months out & we were so grateful for an opportunity as her tooth was so painful for her for so long. If I would have seen this review before I wouldn’t have rushed her there & would have waited for the dentist we trust. Police incident report #26-23-06067- Hellam Police
