My son was usig Wertz as his Orthodontist. We enjoyed his time there. My husband got mandatory military orders for OUT OF STATE, and we had 4 months of treatment left with Wertz (removal of Braces and then retainers). We couldn't drive back to the office, but had paid a substantial amount of our balance to Wertz, leaving a $400 balance left. I got my son a new orthodontist in Maryland, it cost us $1,600. 00 to remove my sons braces and give him his retainers.

I called Wertz and asked for a refund. They said they were washing my balance off of the $400 and my unused insurance money of $218. 90 giving that back and closing my account. Unfortunately, that is underpaying me and theft! Hence the horrible review, the Dawn from the Billing has refused to issue me the $881 and change back to us. So Wertz didn't complete my sons care, but took our money and said they don't do cost break down sheets when I asked for what it would cost for brace removal and retainers only for transfers. Well today I called, the office lady told me it costs $1,500 to get retainers and remove braces, $300 was the removal quote and $1,189 was the retainers portion.

So I am correct, we are owed a refund for the services not rendered to us. I have attempted to call numerous times, with calls and voice mails ignored with them saying we don't offer refunds. Well we don't tolerate theft for services NOT rendered here. We are owed what you didn't complete!!!!!!!

Wertz Ortho treated my fiancé and my two daughters and will soon be treating my son. I have never had a bad experience. The doctor and his staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable.

They do their best to accommodate their clients on all levels. I was very happy to find out that they even provide payment plan options for uninsured as well as insured. I highly recommend Wertz Orthodontics over and over!

My daughter gets seen here and I absolutely love this office! Clear, helpful treatment plan. My daughter has alot of work to be done and was referred to an oral surgeon to have an exposure and bonding done. It's been a stressful nightmare trying to find an oral surgeon office to work with her insurance.

HUGE shout out to Jenna at Wertz!! Someone give that girl a raise!! She was extremely friendly and very helpful as I was a mess and so stressed out. She reassured me not to worry. Thank you so much Jenna and to all of the amazing staff at Wertz!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
