I've been a patient at West 10th for close to 15 years, and I have recommended them to MANY friends over that time! The front desk staff are professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I've always consulted with them when I'm considering a change in insurance coverage, and their advice has held me in good stead. I've had the same two hygienists for the entire time I've been seeing Dr.

Cassidy, and it's made a real difference to have that consistency. The fact that there's been so little turnover THROUGHOUT the office in more than a decade speaks to the quality of the practice overall, and I'm so grateful to have found such capable partners in my dental care.

Will Meyerhofer

JR Cassidy has been my dentist for something like 25 years now, and he's just fantastic, a superb clinician, and a great guy. The staff are lovely and helpful, and I've gotten to know the hygienists and everyone else to the point where each check up is a chance to check in with old friends. Recently I had some old crowns replaced, and I was struck by just how modern their facilities are, how up-to-date their techniques and how caring and pleasant the entire experience was.

Oh, and there are two sleeping poodles you have to step around (gingerly, please) on the way to the exam rooms! This is probably the best dentist in the Village, maybe in New York City. Very highly recommended.

My dentist left this practice. I have emailed and called numerous times (as did the dentist) and I have yet to receive my records. The lady at the front desk (who is so condescending and rude) has told me that google email is down and she would need to keep resending and "it'll eventually go through. " It has been two weeks with nothing.

I recently called again because I am receiving another client's bills - who doesn't live her - and she curtly told me to email it back. Never in my life has a receptionist been so arrogant and dismissive.

Dr. Sengos is very pleasant, patient, and conscientious, and is better at explaining what he's doing than any dentist I've had before. If he's never been a teacher, I think he'd be a great one. The entire office environment is similarly pleasant (in addition to being comfortable, clean, and modern).

It's a very nice team of good-natured people who will make you feel like you are being well cared for and who take their time to explain everything from your dental care to your billing and insurance. Don't hesitate to schedule an appointment if you're looking for a new dental care provider.
