I wish I could say something positive about my experience here, but my last appointment left me speechless. I’m a first time mom who has been thrown many curveballs with my little girl, but we keep going each day. I was recommended this place for her severe tongue tie and found out she had torticollis too. I had to travel an hour one way for each appointment but kept being reminded that we were in the best hands. I dealt with Dr. Habib for each visit, she was kind and helpful. My daughter was able to get the procedure done in August and I thought things had gone well. On our last visit (38 days post procedure) we got to meet Dr.
Gambacorta for the first and also last time. Walking in the room with my daughter, I wasn’t greeted, she just wanted to get right in her mouth. She announced (not even to me) that it had re tied and was hounding me about how I don’t know what I’m doing. She immediately started walking over to my mouth and wanted to show me how to properly do the stretches. I was shocked, embarrassed, horrified and disgusted that this is how she treats people. I thought I was doing the stretches properly (there was no issues the last 3 weeks of visits) and nothing was ever brought up. She was cold and kept asking what my career was to prove I don’t know what I’m doing. The belittlement from this so called amazing dentist was so disheartening.
I wanted to cry the whole time I was in that room and am so glad I had my mother there to witness this encounter. At the end of it, she couldn’t even tell me what to do from here and kept saying “We will discuss at the six month appointment” I left this appointment feeling like such a failure and don’t wish this upon any parent/caregiver. I do not recommend this place. Even when I wanted to share this with the program manager on the phone (when she was confused why I wasn’t returning), she kept saying she didn’t know what happened and thought I only dealt with Dr. Habib. She sounded annoyed and like she could care less. West Burlington dentistry, do better.

We worked with Dr. Habib for my daughter's tongue tie release. From the initial assessment to the post op follow up she made us feel comfortable and empowered. She didn't rush us into surgery and ensured that we had all the information we needed before moving forward. I was hesitant to release, but I have no regrets doing so.
It's made the world of a difference. I appreciate the conservative approach, they really have your babies best interest in mind. Thank you for your compassion and kindness, and taking the extra time to call me when I needed some extra support. I 100% recommend WBD!

Since moving to Burlington in 2022, my entire family has been patients at West Burlington dentistry, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Dr. Gambacorta came highly recommended by one of Canada’s top pediatric osteopaths and physiotherapists, and she has exceeded our expectations in every way. Our journey began when we brought our infant son in for a consultation regarding a tongue tie. Dr. Gambacorta’s thoughtful and thorough approach immediately stood out. Unlike others who might rush into performing a procedure, she carefully examined him and discussed various non-invasive alternatives with us. She prioritized what was best for our son and encouraged us to try these options before resorting to the procedure. This holistic and patient-centered care continued even after the procedure was performed.
We were guided through post-procedure exercises, which were challenging for me at times. When the tongue started to regrow, instead of immediately suggesting another procedure, Dr. Gambacorta chose to monitor my son closely and educate me on how best to support his progress. Her patience, understanding, and expertise meant that my son didn’t have to go through the procedure again, and I felt fully supported throughout the entire process. After such an incredible experience, I took my 10-year-old daughter to see Dr. Gambacorta, and once again, her holistic approach proved invaluable. My daughter loves visiting now, as she receives unique guidance that promotes not just dental health but overall well-being. My husband and I soon transitioned to her practice as well, and I am so grateful we did. Dr.

She coordinated with specialists, followed up with me personally, and developed a tailored care plan that ultimately saved a tooth I might have lost. The staff at West Burlington Dentistry are equally outstanding—always friendly, approachable, and professional. Our story with Dr. Gambacorta started 4 years ago. We've been through tie tongue releases for two of my kids, and along the way, I became a patient as well. I can not express enough how much I appreciate the holistic and individual approach. Dr. Gambacorta, on top of extraordinary knowledge, is kindhearted, empathetic, supportive, and dedicated to help.
Most recent, but not the only example is when without a hesitation, she came to the clinic, late in the evening, taking time from her family to save my son's teeth after a terrible accident. We were blown away by that and are so grateful for all she does. Big thank you to the entire team. Every practitioner we've met during our journey, along with front desk staff, seems to share those values. Highly recommend West Burlington dentistry.
