Dr. Iannace and his staff are extremely kind people. The reason for my 2 star review is because there is a lot of miscommunication from the office to the patient. Several appointments I had was under the impression of either doing a cleaning or procedure. Each time I went, something else was done rather than what was discussed.
Eventually after several visits the deep cleanings and procedure was accomplished. The procedure that he performed caused more havoc than good unfortunately for me. The brace that was put into my mouth harbored more bacteria and did not allow me in anyway shape or form to properly clean it. I finally got the brace removed from my regular dentist this week, and they were baffled as to why it was put in the first place. I must admit, when they removed the brace, I could smell a strong, unpleasant odor.
It was from whatever food and bacteria was trapped between my teeth and the brace. The majority of his patients are elderly, so maybe they're less likely to notice what is done to their mouths, but I am relatively on the younger side. I do believe Dr. Iannace does mean well, but he's not the periodontist for me.

Listen let's be honest, who likes going to the dentist. It's one of those dreaded necessities of life! But I must say Dr. Iannace is the best dentist I've ever been to, hands down. He takes his time and explains to you what's happening and makes you feel comfortable from start to finish. 5 🌟

I have been a patient of Dr Iannace’s for more than five years and have always been pleased with his warm demeanor and gentle touch, not to mention is periodontal skill and newest equipment. His staff is responsive, professional and welcoming. I highly recommend Westchester Periodontics for anyone who might be hesitant in seeking out a periodontist.
