A missed opportunity on their part today. I expected to see either Dr. Hewitt or Dr. White for my initial Orthodontic Consultation, not a “substitute”, nor was I advised before my visit.

Kim (Orthodontic Assistant) never acknowledged me/said hello when she came into the room to assist with photos of my teeth, nor at any point during the interaction. Not a great first impression for people that are trying to earn my business. Becky Schreiner (Visiting/Substitute Orthodontist) was quite abrupt and didn't like that I asked clarifying questions regarding the treatment plan, and kept referring back to the coordinator Michelle to re-explain what she “thought” she'd properly explained. My comprehension skills are stellar, but her patience and bedside manner were not.

I am not impressed by how many years she's known Dr. White, or how much experience she has (which came after I asked about the owner's whereabouts); if answers are dismissive and met with a bad attitude, that's not a place I need to do business. Speaking of business, since she's moonlighting at someone else's practice, hers must not be doing so well🤷🏾‍♀️

The reception area staff are welcoming & accommodating. The examination area equipment is thoroughly cleaned after each patient. My children were patients in the 2010s & now I am a patient!

I became a patient here in 2017 and I had top & bottom braces. At of my visits, I was greeted with kind people. I formed comfortable connections with my technician/hygienists. My treatment ended in 2021 and I wore my removable retainer every night for one month.

I also have permanent retainers top and bottom that have never bent, broken, or became an issue. I receive so many compliments on my teeth people often think I have veneers or that I had invisiline? I want to that the Orthodontists here because their work is life changing and long lasting. I wouldn’t recommend any other place. (I’m a young Black woman)
