Thursday evening while cooking dinner I decided to sneak one of my daughter’s lunch snacks. . . that sweet chewy fruit snack had a surprising bit of a crunch. I’ve been sneak-eating my daughter’s lunch snacks for years and have ever had a crunchy fruit chew before. It turns out that crunchy part was approximately half of my tooth that decided to part ways from the rest of the tooth and do its own thing. I called my dentist, he was unavailable to see me or talk to me. So like any person lucky enough to have a parent with terrible teeth, I called my mom end asked if I could glue it back together myself, or if it was imperative to see a dentist. She let me know it was important to get it taken care of if I didn’t want up like her (which she also says is inevitable).

She told me to look up Dr. Patel, so I listened to my mother. I left a message for Dr. Patel around 8pm. At 9pm I received a call from Dr. Patel (really, at 9pm she called me to see if I was okay- I’m not even a current patient). She asked me to take photos of the “problem” and asked some questions. She lightened the mood with some funny conversation. She let me know she didn’t think it was an emergency if I wanted to wait until normal business hours for an appointment, but if I was in pain or any discomfort to call her personal cell phone and she would meet me at anytime to fix the problem.

I went to my appointment, the staff was so friendly, Dr. Patel was funny, quick, and explained why I have had a hard time getting numb in the past- and guess what!? She got me numb first shot (and that is a first)! I was in and out of the office with a fixed up tooth in well under an hour. I was so pleased I’m switching dentists! I’m not sure if I’m switching because she got me numb, or because of how funny she was, but both weigh heavily on the comfort level of having drills in your mouth. I highly recommend Dr. Patel. She was stellar.

I am someone who has always been terrified of the dentist. When I had my first appointment the entire staff made me feel so comfortable. I cry everytime I go to the dentist and Dr. Patel and her staff reassured me that it’s no big deal.

They explained everything I needed done and Dr. Patel even texted me over a weekend. They are the best group ever and I can’t thank them enough for helping my smile become perfect.

Dr. Patel is a very outstanding dentist. She has an excellent and calming bedside manner, yet is very direct and clear when discussing complex dental topics. Dr. Patel effectively explains causal factors and and presents treatment options.

Her clinical skills are superlative and she is precise; leveraging the latest technologies and treatment protocols. Lastly, Dr. Patel's staff are kind, flexible, and efficient; always honoring our schedules.
