For Dr. Modani, average has never been good enough. He takes the dental health of his patients very seriously. He especially focuses on patient education and the preventive aspect of dentistry. He continuously strives to exceed patient expectations and treatment outcomes. Dr. Modani holds himself to highest ethical and clinical standards. He also takes pride in serving the United States Army Reserves. After completing Dentistry from India in 2006, he worked in hospital and private practice settings. He came to the United States to pursue a Masters of Health Care Administration in Houston, TX, where he got good understanding about US healthcare administration. Later, he came to New York to follow his passion of Dentistry and achieved Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from prestigious New York University in 2014. Since then he has been providing preventative and restorative care to his patients. With a wide array of experience, Dr. Modani provides efficient and effective dental treatment in a very comfortable manner. Dr. Modani has special interests in cosmetic dentistry, root canal treatments and Invisalign. He is up to date with the latest technology and inventions of dentistry by Continuing Dental Education courses. He is an active participant of the Academy of General Dentistry and American Dental Association. Dr. Modani is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), the only non-profit professional association dedicated exclusively to the practice of dental sleep medicine. Dr. Modani helps treat snoring and obstructive sleep apnea with oral appliance therapy, an effective treatment that could be covered by most insurance plans. AADSM membership provides Dr. Modani with access to educational resources and practice management tools that help him better serve his patients by providing the highest quality of care in the treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. During his free time Dr. Modani likes to follow sports, watch movies and travel with his wife, Archana, and his son, Shiven.
