About
Dr. Travis Bohrer has over 18 years of dental experience in the general practice setting and enjoys treating patients of all ages. Family dentistry gives him the satisfaction of helping people have a healthy, beautiful smile and allows him to get to know his patients on a personal level. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Shepherd University (graduating Magna Cum Laude) and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from West Virginia University in 2002 with honors. He was recognized as a National Dental Hinman Scholar in 2002 and completed a post-doctoral training program at the prestigious Nash Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry which has allowed him to apply some of the best techniques in cosmetic dentistry available today. He is also Invisalign certified and a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. His professional associations include: American Dental Association Virginia Dental Association Shenandoah Valley Dental Association American Academy of General Dentistry Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society Dr. Bohrer is a native of the town of Paw Paw in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia. He currently lives in the Strasburg, VA area with his wife, two step-sons, and many animals (horses, goats, cats, and dogs) that are all a part of their loving family.When away from the office, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, caring for his many animals, playing golf, hunting with friends, and following horse racing.
