Smile Logic Orthodontics is a single location, orthodontist owned and operated practice in South Brunswick, NJ. Dentists refer patients for problems with crowding, spacing, crossbites, gaps between teeth, crooked teeth, etc.. Dr. Bryon Viechnicki was deeply influenced by teachers throughout his life. "They encouraged me, cared about me and invested in me." Now, he shares that same passion and caring with his patients at Smile Logic Orthodontics in South Brunswick, NJ. "I feel fortunate to have two great role models for parents," Dr. Viechnicki shares about his father, an Orthodontist, and mother, a General Dentist. He emulates the best traits of both his parents: "My mom is a perfectionist who always pushes the limits to do the best work possible. My dad has a cheerful personality that immediately puts patients at ease — and he loves every minute of what he does." Dr. Viechnicki attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where he graduated in 2009 with a D.M.D. He completed his postdoctoral training at Temple University and graduated with a M.S. in Oral Biology and a Certificate in Orthodontics. In 2012, 2013 and 2014 Dr. Viechnicki was named USA Top Orthodontist as voted by primary care dentists. He feels that he has earned the "highest academic honor," the privilege to train future generations of orthodontists. As a Professor in the Department of Orthodontics at Temple University, he lectures on current clinical orthodontic topics, assists orthodontic residents in their preparation for board certification, and advises residents in research on craniofacial growth and development. Dr. Viechnicki has published seven articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals. He has published two book chapters and presents his research internationally. When receiving the David C. Hamilton Orthodontic Research Award for his contributions in advancing the understanding of adolescent jaw growth, Dr. Viechnicki said: "By doing research in Orthodontics, I hope to pay respect to all of my predecessors who have advanced the Orthodontic profession to what it is today." In 2011, he was chosen by the Board of Trustees of the American Association of Orthodontists as a Young Leader in Orthodontics and was inducted into the Society of Orthodontic Educators. He is a Member of the American Association of Orthodontists and maintains a Specialty License (#6313) to practice Orthodontics in New Jersey.
