Casey Guthrie Burns was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. She attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA for her undergraduate Bachelor of Science and was then accepted to the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry where she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery.Relocating with Dr. Eric Burns to Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, NC, she was an associate in a private practice group focusing mainly on esthetic restorations, implant dentistry and pediatric dentistry. In 2011, Dr. Burns relocated to the Wilmington area and has maintained the same focus; remaining very active in continuing education as a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, North Carolina Dental Society and Port City Study Club (Seattle Study Club).
