With over three decades of experience, a warm approach to patient care, and the latest dental innovations, Edward H. Chappelle Jr., DDS, is ready to serve patients in Bowie, Maryland, and the surrounding area. He views his practice as a family and enjoys every opportunity he gets to welcome a new patient into his friendly office. After earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, Dr. Chappelle completed general practice residencies at both Eastman Dental Center and The Genesee Hospital, both in Rochester, New York. Since then, he has committed himself to continued education, staying informed of and trained in the newest dental technology. He is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American College of Dentists and is affiliated with the National Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Today, his extensive training meshes with a commitment to helping people. Through his work, Dr. Chappelle strives to deliver excellent dental treatments that help people feel comfortable and confident. When he™s not seeing patients, you can find Dr. Chappelle working in a different way: to improve his community. He™s involved with the Boys & Girls Club and the Largo Community Church. He also partners with the Omega Psi Phi fraternity™s scholarship program to help bring mentorship to high school students. During his downtime, Dr. Chappelle loves spending time with his wife and two children, listening to contemporary jazz, taking photographs, playing some softball, and traveling.
