About
Dr. Grace Wanwan Zhang graduated from SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2017. While there she received several honors including the International College of Dentists award, and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Dental Implant Award. Dr. Grace also started the University at Buffalo for Intercultural Awareness organization at the Dental School to provide oral health screenings and clothing drives for the growing refugee community in the area. Prior to receiving her dental degree, Dr. Grace was a dental hygienist and dental lab tech, receiving her bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2011, and a master's degree in Biology from Chatham University in 2012. Dr. Grace completed a general practice residency at Allegheny General Hospital where she received numerous accolades for treating medically compromised patients with a variety of dental issues. Dr. Grace is fluent in Mandarin and conversational in Japanese. She enjoys cooking, photography and hiking the hills of Pittsburgh. Dr. Zhang grew up in Mt. Lebanon and we are delighted she will be bringing her enthusiasm, compassion, and wide range of dental experience and skills back home to Uptown Dental.
