About
Born in a small steel making town east of Pittsburgh PA, Dr. Hooper grew up under the watchful eye of the Pitt Panther and graduated in 1976 from Pitt Dental school. He moved back to Johnstown and opened a private practice of general dentistry where he raised two children and grew the practice along with his wife whom served as his office manager. After 41 years of private practice, which was primarily cosmetic and orthodontics, Dr. Hooper received multiple offers to buy his practice. This opened a new window for him to come to North Carolina, practice dentistry and play more golf. From Dr. Hooper, "My philosophy for success has always been and will always be what my father taught me. Be honest, do your best, and they will come back. With these values I will enjoy practicing for Lane and Associates Family Dentistry. PS. My father was not a dentist he worked in the mill. Smart Man."
