About
Dr. Hairston is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and the Peninsula Dental Society. Dr. Joelle Hairston was born and raised on the Island of Bermuda. After completing her residency at Wake Forest, she practiced for the Bermuda Department of Health Pediatric Dental Clinic. In 2001, she returned to the United States to be with her husband who was serving in the United States Army. Dr. Hairston practiced as a contract dentist for the Army at Ft. Hood in Texas and Ft. Stewart in Georgia, as well as in South Korea before settling in Williamsburg in 2009. Since 2009, she has been practicing dentistry in private dental practices serving Hampton Roads. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband, Aaron and their two children, Aiden and Ava.
