About
Dr. Henderson grew up in Wake Forest, NC. She received her undergraduate degree from NC State University in 2009 and went on to receive her dental degree from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill in 2013. She completed a General Practice Residency program at the VA Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. She is Program Director for the Forsyth County Dental Society, Treasurer for the 2nd District North Carolina Dental Society, American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. She enjoys all areas of dentistry, especially putting anxious patients at ease and helping people, who would otherwise not seek dental care, work through their anxiety to achieve better oral health. Dr. Henderson enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time at Kerr Lake with her family water skiing. Mission work has always been important to her, spending most summers in high school and into college in Mexico building houses and more recently over a month in Nepal providing dentistry and hiking to Annapurna base camp. She is excited to be back in North Carolina and looking forward to getting to know the Winston-Salem area better.
