About
From a young age, Dr. Nicklas knew he wanted to walk in his father's footsteps by following the same professional path - becoming a dentist. The most rewarding part of practicing dentistry to Dr. Nicklas is making the patient comfortable in what can be an intimidating setting. Dr. Kent N. Nicklas earned a B.A. in Zoology from Miami University in 1985 and his degree from The Ohio State University College Of Dentistry in 1989. After graduation, Kent did a residency with the V.A. Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. In 1990, he returned home to Berea and joined his father Dr. Neil Nicklas in private practice. Dr. Nicklas is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association and Greater Cleveland Dental Society. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing with his family and spending fall weekends watching his favorite sports teams - the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns.
