About
Dr. Linda Shafik was born in Iraq, where she was raised and later met her husband, while attending dental school in Iraq. From 1984-1999, Linda practiced dentistry and was a professor's assistant at the Baghdad University. Linda and her family moved to the United States in 1999. Dr. Shafik's education includes a Master's degree, achieved in 1993, where she was first in her class in dental school at the University of Baghdad out of 160 graduates in the country. After moving to the United States, she attended dental school for a second time at the University of Southern California to seek her DDS degree 2002-2004. After graduating, Linda practiced cosmetic dentistry in Beverly Hills, CA in 2004-2005. Dr. Shafik is a licensed DDS in the State of North Carolina and California, as well as a member of The American Dental Association, The North Carolina Dental Society, Wake County Dental Society and The Seattle Study Club. With the attitude of always going above and beyond to make sure patients feel comfortable, Dr. Shafik believes in treating her patients like family. She is very personable and takes extra care and time with patients to ensure they form a bond of trust. When Linda is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. She enjoys swimming, walking and is an excellent Mediterranean cook. She deems her family and being a mom as her biggest accomplishment. Linda states, "My family has worked hard and struggled to make it where we are today. We have been through a lot and our proudest moment together was taking the oath to become an American Citizen."
