Lynette L. Smith, DDS received her B.A. degree from Lycoming College (Williamsport, PA) and moved to North Carolina to attend dental school. She graduated from the UNC School of Dentistry in 1983. Dr. Lyn Smith has practiced general dentistry in Mount Airy, NC since 1990. Her professional memberships include the NC Dental Society, the American Dental Society (ADA) and the Blue Ridge Dental Society. She has served as President of the North Carolina Academy of General Dentistry (2006). Dr. Smith has been awarded Fellowships in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the Academy of Dentistry International (ADI), the American College of Dentists (ACD) and the International College of Dentists (ICD). Dr. Lyn's interests include running, hiking, traveling and outdoor activities. She enjoys art, music, dancing and Bible study. Dr. Lyn especially enjoys sharing time with her husband, family, and friends.
