About
A Virginia native, Dr. Kumar graduated from Virginia Tech in 2007 and the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine in 2014. Dr. Kumar distinguished himself by receiving an Advanced Education in General Dentistry degree through the United States Air Force. From 2014-2020 Dr. Kumar served in the Air Force as an advanced dentist, receiving multiple awards including a Commendation Medal for excellence in service. After being stationed in Las Vegas, Okinawa, Japan, and South Carolina, Dr. Kumar is excited to come back home to Roanoke, Virginia. Dr. Kumar is blessed with a wife , an 8-year-old son, and 5-year-old daughter. When he is not at work, he is an avid fisherman and enjoys spending time outdoors. Being an Eagle Scout, Dr. Kumar also enjoys being active in our community. Dr. Kumar, still being a service member in the Tennessee Air National Guard, lives his life beholden to the the USAF core values: Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence In all He Does.
