About
Dr. Ryan Milewski is a native to North Carolina, growing up in Southern Pines. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from NCSU in Zoology, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Next, he attended dental school followed at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was awarded the Hillenbrand-Lupton Award for Academic Achievement in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He was motivated and inspired during dental school by the excellent surgeons treating complex problems and their grateful patients. Dr. Milewski completed his training with a four-year surgical residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UNC. His residency focused on the surgical treatment of dentofacial abnormalities, oral and maxillofacial pathology, facial trauma, anesthesia and routine oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures. He frequently volunteers at UNC as adjunct faculty working with dental students in the oral surgery clinics. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a member of numerous professional dental organizations. His surgical interests include dental implant surgery, extractions, bone grafting, and pathology. Dr. Milewski lives in Raleigh with his wife, Marissa, their son, and Tucker, his husky puppy.
