About
Dr. Samir Singh grew up in the North Hills, graduating from North Allegheny High School. During that time, he was heavily involved in cultural activities such as the Indian Cultural Association of Pittsburgh. He attended the University of Pittsburgh where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with a minor in Chemistry. He continued his education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. During this time, Dr. Singh served as an officer of the American Student Dental Association for two years. Throughout his dental school career, Dr. Singh received several academic scholarships for scholastic achievement. In June 2016, he completed his four-year specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center. Dr. Singh published several text book chapters and case reports during his residency. His presentation of a case report at the Third Annual American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residents meeting in 2014 earned him national recognition. He participated in several mission trips as part of the Missions of Mercy group helping underserved areas in Virginia as well as the Christian Broadcast Network helping children with cleft lip and palate in Peru. He is a member of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Singh is excited to return to his home town and demonstrate that he is an expert in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, who strives to provide you with the most comprehensive and expert care available!
