About
Dr. Sandra Onekhena has lived in Kentucky for over a decade & decided to move to North Carolina after visiting the state and loving the sense of community. A triple graduate from the University of Kentucky, Dr. Onekhena has her undergraduate degree in Human Nutrition and Biology, her Master's degree in Public Health, and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. She has also been awarded the Lyman T. Johnson Torch Bearer Award (2019), Mortenson Dental Partners Scholarship (2019), Dan Seaver Scholarship Award (2019), Janet Faraci Lee DMD Development Award (2019), UK Dentistry Dean's Clinical Scholarship (2016-2020), and College of Dentistry Scholarship (2016). Dr. Onekhena is also a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
