About
Dr. Duggan is a native Virginian, originally from Roanoke, Virginia. She received her dental degree from Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 2006 where she graduated magna cum laude. While in dental school she received numerous awards for academic excellence, including the F.B. Wiebusch Award for Excellence in Periodontics. After graduation, she completed a two year general practice residency at the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville, VA. During those two years of advanced study she focused on comprehensive dentistry, as well as treating medically compromised and pediatric patients. Upon completion of her residency, Dr. Duggan began her graduate training in Periodontics at VCU/Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry where she received her Master's of Science in Dentistry and her certificate in Periodontics in 2011. Dr. Duggan is a Board Certified Specialist in Periodontics and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontics. She maintains a private practice limited to Periodontics and Dental Implants in Yorktown, Virginia. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, the Southern Academy of Periodontics, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Peninsula Dental Society. Dr. Duggan is married to Andrew; she has two sons, Jack and Charlie, and a Scottish terrier, Emmy.
