About
Dr. Weiss has been creating beautiful smiles in the East Williston and Mineola area for more than 30 years. He has a passion for orthodontics and loves treating patients with his dedicated staff. Born and raised in New York and living in Westbury, he receives great pleasure in seeing the smiles of patients that he has treated over a lifetime of his work. In addition to delivering the highest quality of orthodontic treatment, he has always emphasized the importance of developing close relationships with his patients and treating them as family. EDUCATION After receiving his Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University, Dr. Weiss attended New York University College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He completed his general practice residency at Memorial Hospital and later received his certificate in orthodontics, also from New York University. Dr. Weiss has received many honors, including the Excellence in Radiology Award at New York University College of Dentistry, as well as the Strang-Tweed Outstanding Patient Presentation Award. In addition to his NYU Orthodontic degree, he has completed advanced orthodontic training by the Gorman Institute, the Begg Society, the Pankey Institute, and the Kesling-Rocke Institute. A strong dedication to continuing education emables him to offer the most advanced treatments and orthodontic procedures available. He has had the honor of participating in national orthodontic seminars and lectures several times a year. When he is away from the practice, Dr. Weiss has a passion for high adventure and he enjoys many activities, including skiing, bicycling, hiking, traveling, movies, reading, and spending time with his family and friends. With the support of his wife and family, Dr. Weiss continues to provide orthodontic care to the residents of Long Island, a place he has always been proud to call home.
