About
Dr. Gupta is an esteemed member of the Doctor Mastery Program. The five-year program consists of clinical training conducted by world renowned clinicians, from building on foundational skills and advancing to mastery of the most complex dental care. Dr. Sumit Gupta is a 2008 graduate from The University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. He attended University of the Pacific for his undergraduate studies where he earned his Bachelor in Science and continued on to their Dental school as part of a 6 year accelerated program. Dr. Gupta spent 6 years in California before deciding to move back to Pittsburgh to work side by side with his father. He joined Verona Dental Care in 2010 as an associate. Dr. Gupta was born and raised in the Pittsburgh area. He graduated in 2001 from Fox Chapel High school. He enjoys watching sports and is a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins and Pirates fan. Although he went to Pacific, he is still a loyal fan of the Pitt Panthers as well. Dr. Gupta enjoys staying active and in his free time plays many sports, including basketball, soccer, tennis, racquetball, and golf. He recently returned from a ten day surgical mission in Bhutan. During his trip he worked with Surgicorps International; a non-profit organization whose goal is to provide free surgical and medical care to disadvantaged individuals in developing countries.
