About
Dr. Yash Patel is originally from High Point, NC and a lifelong Carolina Panthers fan. He received his Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina before attending UNC School of Dentistry to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). He then received his residency training in Advanced General Dentistry from East Carolina University. Dr. Patel moved down to South Carolina in 2018 to join his wife, Dr. Advaita Patel, an Obstetrics and Gynecology resident. They have fallen in love with their new home and are excited to be part of the community in Columbia. Outside of Carolina Smiles, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with his wife and small shih-tzu dog, Arav. However, if you ask his wife, she would say he enjoys watching every UNC basketball and football game. Dr. Patel also enjoys playing tennis and basketball and biking. Dr. Patel and his wife also enjoy traveling in their free time. Dr. Patel looks forward to meeting and getting to know you and your family.
