About
Dr. Zohaib Munaf is from Tampa, FL. He pursued his Bachelor's of Science degree at the University of South Florida. Dr. Munaf's resilience and passion to gain and advance in scientific knowledge led him to earn a Master Degree from Rutgers University in Biomedical Science with a concentration in Oral Biology. He then obtained his doctorate from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. He was the president of the student body and earned The Student of the Year award along with Proctor and Gamble Leadership Award. Following graduation from NSU, he completed a two year pediatric dental residency at NYU Langone in Brooklyn, NY. During his specialty training at NYU Langone, Dr. Munaf served as Chief Resident for the Department of Pediatric Dentistry. He received a wide range of skills working with children with comprehensive dental needs, special needs, as well as children with complex medical histories. Throughout his career, Dr. Munaf has stressed the importance of volunteering and giving back to the community and has been involved in programs such as Give Kids a Smile, Oral Cancer 5K Awareness, and community health fairs. Dr. Munaf strongly believes that compassionate and comprehensive treatment can develop positive oral habits in children. He also believes that the communication between the doctor, parent, and child is a crucial part of establishing a healthy mouth. His role is to work with each child and each family to identify the patient's specific dental concerns, and to develop a care plan that's efficient and effective for the patient. In his free time, Dr. Munaf enjoys playing basketball and football, traveling and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Munaf lives in Concord NC with his wife and two daughters. Dr. Munaf is excited to provide quality dental care for his patients at Eastfield Pediatric & Orthodontics.
