For a single mom and self employed, I went to him bc I knew his family for a long time and he did a root canal on my tooth. He did good but with a big bill and told them I would pay them when I could he threatens to take you to small claims court over it. I finally made an agreement to make payments but as my business slowed down I tried to contact him personally to just speak with him about my payments, I never received a call back or nothing but now that over half of it is paid off he has threaten to take me to small claims court again.

I have never had a dentist threaten anyone to small claims. I will never go back I do not recommend anyone who doesn’t have a lot of money or insurance to set foot in his office.

Absolute best dental experience of my life! I was a new client today, after … managing to avoid a dentist for some years now due to a busy law school schedule and also some medical anxiety. I was quite nervous to have a dental appointment, but I legitimately (and shockingly) had a great time. :-D My dental hygienist was incredibly warm and friendly. In addition to some fun small talk, she explained each thing she was doing to my mouth, before she did it, and also explained the reason she was doing it.

This alleviated my nerves a great deal, and I also learned all sorts of interesting and useful things about dentistry. She was extremely thorough and also careful (pain-free, comfortable visit). X-rays, photos, dental mapping, cleaning, and a check with the Dentist all went very smoothly, and I left smiling (no cavities or any other issues, woohoo!). The entire experience (booking an appointment, providing insurance and paperwork, interacting with the front desk, and meeting with the hygienist and Dentist) all went so smoothly, and everyone there was incredibly welcoming and joyful, obviously genuinely loving their jobs and workplace.

I really think that this visit with Austin Dentistry cured my lifelong fear of dentists. Truly. I went ahead and booked both my 6 and 12 month appointments. Thank you to the entire team at Austin Dental for your warmth and professionalism!
