I went on 6/5 to have two teeth extracted. On Friday around 5, I realize there is still a small part of one of the teeth still in there. It was 3 horrible days of pain. I watched the U of L game on Saturday and fell asleep afterwards. I wake up at 8:30 in a pool of sweat. I’m awaiting ankle, knee, and back surgery and that pain didn’t compare with the pain in my mouth.

I get ablations in both sides of my buttocks every 6 months and steroids to my neck every 3 months and don’t even use sedative. I was injured 5 1/2 years ago with lifetime injuries. The swelling in the gums around it and in my cheekbone and I was taking the antibiotic. How does a dentist leave something behind? I go in on Monday and he says it looks good. I could see the jagged piece on the screen. He actually tells me it’s the bone between two teeth.

The other tooth was broke off and only the left side so make that make sense. He tells me he will clip the tip. He clips the tip and yanked that piece out so quick thinking I wouldn’t know. I’m a retired teacher with a masters degree and instead of taking accountability and apologizing he comes up with this wild story. Oh and the following day the swelling was down by at least 50% and the pain went close to 0 in seconds after he yanked out.

Love this place! Everyone who works there is friendly, helpful and caring and professional. They got me in immediately when I cracked my tooth. I’m sure that won’t always be the case, but the fact that they care about their patients and do the best they can for them means a lot! I would highly recommend Bardstown Dental.
