THEY DONT RESPECT PATIENTS AT ALL!! They are unorganized, dishonest, messy , sloppy , unprofessional and very disrespectful . As a new patient I returned a missed call to confirm an apt. First they told me that I was scheduled at 8:45 PM which is past their office hours. They were confused buy that so they put me on a long 10 minutes to figure it out. They finally came up with the weird conclusion that I did not return their call quickly enough when they reached out to confirm my apt .
Apparently you get ONE HOUR window to return their call. Since I did not call back right away , they cancelled it . I questioned this very ridiculous one hour rule and the representative could not even make it make sense and kept blaming me. Both text messages and voicemail were just apt reminder prompt to fill out paperwork prior to visit. HOW do you even cancel an apt without any warning ? they swore that I was supposed to know about that stupid rule.
Their messaging system does not even provide the option to confirm yes to the apt. If I did not call that day I would have never known that they magically decided to cancelled my apt. If they are operating like this at the font desk with a potential new patient, I would not want to find out how the dentists are operating at this facility . They also require you to schedule 2 apt for a routine cleaning, one appt for Xray and another for the actual clean up which is never heard of. Stay away from this place

It is an extreme toss up when you call this place. Tuesday I didn’t mention Medicaid and asked about payment plans , they were very nice and helpful. Today I called and asked about Medicaid and whoever the woman was today 04/25/24 at 1:30pm she said “Brooklyn Dental is not in that world” what does that even mean? She had a southern accent and I was confused so I asked again “okay so you don’t take Medicaid” she responded the second time with a simple “no we do not” and promptly hung up with an attitude.
I made these calls for my cousin who is suffering from a wisdom tooth eruption and I was going to pay to have it extracted which is why I asked about the payment plans in my first call. He has just applied for emergency Medicaid and might get it as early as next week which would spare me the bill so I called and asked. This place has staff who incompetently treat people who have benefit insurance with less respect.
This is actually WHY I make the calls for my young family members when scheduling appointments, this is not the only place that has an attitude or acts disgusted when a possible patient mentions benefit insurance. If I had spoke to the woman I spoke with on the morning of 04/23 I would have just made the appointment and paid out of pocket but candor, rapport & respect was something lacking in my phone call with this office today. Will be going elsewhere, Medicaid or not

The dentist is by far the best dentist I have had in my 70 years. Incredible. So attentive. Patient. Understanding. Responsive. You will find Dr. Amirian to be a superb doctor. He is doing extensive work on my mouth. It is A+!

The financial advisors if that's their correct title, is totally unprofessional. Came their office for a toothache and was told I need a root canal (2) a something else. The man told me an estimate of $7000. I told him my insurance covers it in full. Mind you, this dental is in my network. The other lady, so nasty.
Even had an attitude with my dental provider only to be told my dentist is in network but the "specialty dentist is "out of network " Should've said that in the beginning. How you expect your patients to know who and what is out of network when your office is listed as in network? Problem unsolved and left still in pain and untreated. The dentist and the dental assistant was very polite and professional. But those " advisors" need to learn some customer service skills or find other employment.
