I have been meaning to leave this review for quite some time! For some context, I grew up seeing some very uncaring dentists. The visits were mostly about humiliating me for my “transgressions” with no kind or constructive suggestions regarding how to better. As a result, visits to any dentist were traumatic and painful and I dreaded them. Fast forward several decades and I can say that being a patient at Carolina Dentistry has helped me kick my phobia. The staff is friendly, capable, efficient and professional.

They offer a comfort menu of items that might enhance your experience, such as a blanket or some aromatherapy. The hygienists are kind and gentle. They answer all of my questions and offer feedback in a way that is not offensive. Today I had to have a tooth pulled. Dr.

Antley and her assistant could not have been nicer. They walked me through the process and coached me the whole way. I felt cared for and valued. I would call out everyone by name but I am afraid I will forget someone and I want everyone in the practice to know how much I appreciate them for turning around my childhood trauma around dental care!

My experiences here are always great. I met a new hygienist today - Sam - who was so easy to talk and an excellent listener. I already really liked this place because the staff, hygienists, and Dr. Antley are consistently friendly, honest, and forthcoming when you have questions, but lately they seem to be actively focused on improving patients ' experiences even more.

I really appreciate the small creature comforts they offer and that they make a point to ask about and clearly, respectfully discuss your dental goals with you. Highly recommend.
