The ladies in this office, from the front desk to the hygienists to the dentist, are ALL so personable and friendly. I drive over 1 hour for my children’s visits and each time it has been a smooth, speedy (but not rushed) experience. The office is clean and VERY aesthetically pleasing. The check in process is quick and up to date.

I do not feel like my young children are judged for their brushing habits. They are always encouraged by staff and given tips on how to be better without being shamed. Even if I found a dentist in my immediate area, I would still come here. 10 out of 10, definitely recommend !!

I love it here! I had a ton of anxiety about bringing my kids to a new dentist after having an awful experience elsewhere. Everyone here has been so kind and gentle! Also one of the ONLY places left to have a waiting room made for kids! I can't even find a pediatrician's office like that anymore.

Also, one of my children has autism and they have done an excellent job taking things extra slowly and gentle with him, which was my biggest worry of all. 5 stars a thousand times!!

I am happy patient of Dr. Dixon at Commonwealth Dentistry in Colonial Heights for adults, so I decided it would be easier and more convenient to change my son to the pediatric dentist which is next door. Yesterday was our very first appointment and I am sooooo glad that I changed to them. The dentist, Dr. Miller was amazing with my son and very welcoming, informing and just down to earth. Her and her assistant were super nice & relatable. We all laughed and were able to discuss the treatment plan with all my questions asked.

It was not a rushed visit at all, which I experienced before at other offices. We had a good visit from the time of check-in to check-out. I highly recommend this dentist and look forward to our follow up appts with them. The office is new, clean and very high-tech and up to date for the kids. A mini arcade in the waiting room and even an iPad that sits up for them to watch while sitting in the dental chair. It was all round top notch!

My daughter is autistic and non verbal Olivia was the best with her! This was our first visit and everyone in this dental office was so nice. My daughter has sensory issues and they were so patient with her. The dentist was thorough and made her feel comfortable.

She even gave the other hygienist a high five when we left. If your looking for a great dentist for kids this is the best place, and we have tried many different practices!
