My daughter has been coming here for over 5+ years. She had some teeth removed and two sets of braces. After all this time wearing braces, My daughter’s smile and teeth are amazing! She loves her smile and loves the workers at the dentist’s office. I highly recommend this place!!

I had a disappointing experience at this pediatric dental office. Each of my son’s three visits left me feeling anxious and frustrated. From the first appointment when he was 9 months old, the staff pinned him down and forcefully opened his mouth without any attempt to ease him into the process. The same happened at his 18-months and 2-year visits. During our last visit, I was asked if the staff could take my 2-year-old son back alone. After I declined, I was informed that we would need to wait longer while they cleared out the back room. This raised concerns for me, and after reading other reviews, I now understand why.

It seems they may not want parents to witness how children are treated behind closed doors, which is quite unsettling. I find this approach baffling and deeply concerning. The lack of compassion is a common issue. I will not be returning and I hope the staff can improve their approach to working with children. Compassion is essential in pediatric dentistry.

My kids are now 14 and 16 and have been going to PDOVA in Colonial Heights since they were babies. My daughter just got her second set of braces off and we are thrilled with her results. The entire staff is great and always treats us like family. They are amazing! I can’t recommend them enough.

I had braces from January 2023 until June 2025, and my treatment was nothing short of exceptional! Each appointment was pretty concise and quick, I always knew what was going on during my treatment, and everyone was always very nice from the moment I walked in to the second I left. I had the added obstacle of navigating appointment times with class in high school and college, but the office was always flexible.

I definitely recommend this office for braces treatment!
