I have severe anxiety at dentists due to previous experiences. I chose Cypress Family Dentistry because it was local and because according to they implicitly state on their website that they use nitrous and oral sedation (see image from their website below). I noted my anxiety in my appointment form 2. 5 months ago and on my intake forms the day of my appointment.

Once they took x-rays, I was informed that they do not do nitrous, nor do they do oral sedation. This is an integrity issue and all should be wary of using Cypress Family Dentistry. Edited on June 30, 2025 As a reply to the owner’s response to this review. I was told in no uncertain terms by Dr.

Stively that Cypress Family Dentistry did NOT offer nitrous nor oral sedation. In my conversation I pointed out that it does say it on the website and was told by him that it should not state that on the website because they did not offer either. When I did show the website language to the person at the front desk she told me that the nitrous machine was broken.

I love Cypress. Had an old crown that chipped and my dentist didn’t try to sell me a new one. Just filed it down and said we’d monitor. And they’ll work up an estimate for a crown and see how much my insurance will cover if I need one in the future. Great place.

It was my first visit and it was amazing! Staff was very welcoming! They got me back very quickly and I was in and out in a very timely manner. Dr. Eaves was very communicative and made me feel very comfortable. My hygienist was very thorough and made the entire experience very easy! All in all 10/10! Can’t wait to go back!
