*UPDATED REVIEW AT THE BOTTOM…. My smile expert Anna was very pleasant and knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions with a smile, and understanding. I felt very comfortable with her. It was a very nice experience overall. All of the staff were very kind, efficient, and professional….

Update: Anna assured me that my insurance would cover a portion of my fee without verifying it, and quoted me a price that accounted for insurance assistance, and lo and behold, insurance did NOT cover it, and I was informed that I must pay for what the insurance did not cover as I neared the end of my treatment. I felt like I got scammed. Shout out to Alba for getting the additional amount waved for me, however I still ended up having to pay more for additional refinement. *UPDATE* after 8 months of treatment … While the office staff is very professional and kind, each Orthodontist I’ve seen has been rude, rushed, and not thorough with care or transparent with communication. The doctors never give an explanation on the progress of my teeth. It would be nice if I could be shown the pictures that they take of my teeth, and updated on the progress and what we are achieving with each set of aligners.

They barely greet me when they sit down to examine me and every-time I ask questions they seem annoyed that they have to explain anything. I deserve to know what is going on with my teeth especially when I am spending thousands of dollars out of pocket. They were also dishonest after I received my last set of aligners, they knew that my teeth would not be completely straight and would likely need refinements which I ended up having to pay more money for, and they did not communicate that to me at the end of my last appointment in January. The doctors need to take pointers from the office staff on how to treat patients, but it’s clear that this is a business and not a true medical facility.

Dr. Carlos Galvez and the staff at Diamond braces Inwood location are fantastic. My daughter's teeth needed immediate attention and they calmed her nerves and made her feel comfortable during those necessary procedures. Great experiences overall.

I had a consultation scheduled today at this dyckman location for my 11-year-old son, and it was fantastic from start to finish. The check-in process was quick, and when I mentioned to the receptionist that I had private dental insurance, she immediately checked the details for me. After about 30 minutes, my son was taken for X-rays, and when I met with the doctor, he was extremely professional. He thoroughly explained everything, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable with the next steps. Afterward, I met with the coordinator, who went above and beyond to assist me with the insurance process.

To my delight, they covered everything, and my son was able to get his top braces that same day! We were both thrilled. I would 100% recommend this office. The staff and doctor were kind, patient, and knowledgeable. They also speak both English and Spanish, which is a big plus in this area.
