I have been a patient of Dr Lai's for just over 12 years now and I can only say good things. Dr Lai is professional, trustworthy and is very knowledgeable. Coming from other dentists that every 6 months I had at least 5 cavities, which always surprised me. Now in the last 12 years I've only had two and one was to correct a broken filling.

He is great with kids, very kind and gentle. The staff is always friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a trustworthy dentist, Dr Lai's clinic is where you'd want to go.

Went in for two root canals in August. Felt as if I was swindled. Not only are the teeth not fixed, they repeatedly attempted to get me to come back to take new X-rays to see if the root canal was “successful”. After more than 5 times back to have these X-rays, each time just saying it was “too early to tell”, they still do not have any solutions to the intense pains caused from their failed root canal.

Now, 7 months later, their messaging is “we can wait and see or you can go to an (external) specialist”. As if this wasn’t bad enough, the last time I went in to have this resolved, the young man at receptionist physically shoved me when they were fed up with dealing with me. English is not my first language and instead of taking the time to be patient and understanding due to their error, the receptionist was increasingly patronizing, unprofessional and condescending. I’m sure they treat a large percentage of their other patients just normally, but I have had the most nightmarish experience with Dr.

Lai dentistry and I hope they either rectify their mistake or that they are held accountable for their negligence, entirely unacceptable lack of professionalism and the literal physical pain they have caused me.

I have been going to Dr. Lai for the last 6 years and to say he is an amazing dentist would be an understatement. He has never done any unnecessary procedures and so I trust if he says I need to do a procedure. He always takes the time to explain fully what is being done and ensures I am comfortable at all stages of the process.

His team is welcoming and follow his example of being warm and friendly yet very professional. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr. Lai as an A1 dentist.
