Receptionist had the audacity to tell me what my child can and cannot do when I paid the insurance bill !!!! I've been going there before this new group took over . Once she step out of line . I chose to find another dentist. Nevertheless the water bugs

I want to send a GREAT BIG “Shout Out” to some of my very favorite people, it’s the excellent staff at Friendly Dental in Indian Land!!! I’ve been a patient for over 10 years now, with some small issues and as of late, sadly more serious issues…so I definitely understand all the emotions wrapped up in these stressful times. If it was not for ALL these wonderful people, Dr. Eftekhar (I call her Dr. Kimia), her right hand man-Rudy, the sweetest assistant ever- Erica and my front desk therapy team-Emerson & Brenda…I’m not sure what or how I would be doing right now! Each one of them has played such a huge part in helping me through a very serious “dry mouth/acidic GERD/stomach issue” that has caused lots of very sudden decay that’s resulted in lots of expensive repair. Dr. Kimia has helped me with decisions about the decay removal and restoration, but has also become my educated sounding board as I go from different doctors snd many tests trying to find answers.

I just wish the countless other doctors cared about finding help for me as much as Dr. Kimia does. She sets a very high bar for the industry! Rudy is an exceptional young man, so professional in his role , with the best chair side manner. You don’t have to be in his presence long before you realize that this guy can do anything, has seen everything and he has your back! Erica is a dedicated health care professional also, some people are just born with this kind of heart and she is a gift to everyone she meets. She is right there, assisting the Dr. and thinking ahead of all the little details that help me through it all! Emerson & Brenda have the hardest job in many ways, sometimes they can deliver good news about insurance or cost of services and sometimes it’s not what we want to hear.

In my case, lately it was the later. Emerson kindly offered to give me a monthly payment plan when my insurance ran out and wisely advised me on buying a supplemental plan due to my recent health challenges. These young ladies really understand the complicated world of insurance and are such a vital part of the team effort! Obviously, I can’t say enough about these people and are very thankful to call each of them my dearest friends. People may not remember anything you ever said, but they will always remember how you made them feel”! Thank you!

I tried to like this place but no. This place seems to do everything they can to charge you fees. When you a new patient they make you take a lot of x rays. Then they measure gums and will only do a cleaning per their recommendation. I asked them to explain this and they did so I get it, but I should have been told this specifically. I came in for regular cleaning then they said they don’t have time to do it today because they took all those x rays and the measuring then wanted to say I was a little late due to traffic which was 10 mins. If cleaning only took 10 mins that would be a problem.

I skeptically made another appointment for my cleaning which insurance won’t cover because it’s a special cleaning but not a deep cleaning. Anyway, I made appointment for my son later same day and I asked would they do all the x rays and they said yes unless I can get it. So with two hours left I’m expected to get his records so I said let’s reschedule and they want to charge cancellation fee and I’m told they can’t waive it and the insurance my son has won’t pay for the x rays if not needed. This practice won’t even tel you to get it ahead of time and they won’t give you time to get what they want without charging a fee! I think that’s ridiculous because the insurance is who won’t pay for the x rays and you can’t contact a office with two hours especially a busy one. I tried and no answer so I just told them to cancel my son and my appointment for the future. All they had to do was give me time to get what they need or call themself. I asked them to get it and they said I had to get it which is also incorrect because there is a form I can sign and the other office will release it.

I called several other dental offices who said this. This office was just lazy and didn’t want to take the time from overbooking to do this. I do NOT recommend because they do not so what’s best for the client only themself. They do not give enough info. Very bad experience that cost them two clients but they don’t care. I asked for regional CEO to contact and never heard a word!!!
