This place was absolutely horrible, was referred by my dentist for my child, the first appointment had it's red flags but thought it may have been my son overreacting. The second appointment was for cavities, I let them know this was his first experience with dental work and asked for them to ease him into it. At first we agreed to put him under for easier work but when I arrived I was informed they didn't have the correct equipment to safely put him under and laughing gas will be used instead. I reluctantly agreed as long as they ease in and stop in case if treatment won't be easy.

Dr. Blau instead decided to drill straight into his tooth and we had a screaming 3 year old for half an hour. At that point it was too late to turn back since his tooth now had drilling performed. They had to call backup to hold my child in place and had me hold his hands down.

After all that I regret not paying the cancellation fee and instead paying $142 dollars for 1 cavity and a traumatic experience. Safe to say I will never return to this business, their name is a joke, Gentle Care For Kids Teeth.

BEWARE!!!! My 8 year old daughter is very anxious and sensitive. My wife took her here because of the reviews and how they SAY they work with anxious children. The first appointment went well and my wife took my child back for a follow up not realizing the Dr. scheduled that appointment for a filling.

My daughter was taken back and my wife left in the waiting room. Soon after my wife heard blood curdling screams and started towards the door to see what was happening. The "doctor" had my 8 year old strapped in a straight jacket looking thing and was yelling at her to be quiet because she's scaring the other children. DO NOT TAKE ANYONE YOU REMOTELY CARE ABOUT HERE!!!

Dr. Blau should be reported and should absolutely never be allowed to work on children's teeth. My son is 5 this was his second appointment and the first one his behavior was very good and she used the gas on him. This time she also used the gas, he took a small bathroom break halfway through and he was pretty upset. I calmed him down and they started again and I stayed in the room this time because he asked me to, but he became upset and started crying everytime she used the sharp tool. The hygienist asked me to help hold his hands since they were coming out of the restrain, so of course I did and calmly tried to talk to him. He started gagging and coughing (I informed her multiple times he has always been gaggy and has a big tongue) And she did not stop at all or ask him what's wrong. He became increasingly upset and she did not stop. He literally started crying and began literally screaming and fighting and gagging and I told her "okay, I want you to stop.

" She ignored me. I repeated "I said I want you to stop. " She said "oh, he just thinks he has to go to the bathroom. " I said I know my son and if he is like this I want you to stop NOW. " At this point I was starting to try to gently pull him up to sit since he was gagging and choking and trying to fight and literally screaming while she continued to work but since she wouldn't stop for even a second or let him up at all, I didn't want to pull him too hard and risk him getting hurt. I told her "I said STOP. " She continued to ignore me. I was livid. The hygienist started counting to try to calm him and he did but got upset all over again when she used the one tool.

She continued doing the same thing and was saying how she needed to finish so he doesn't have to come back again. To make matters worse, Dr. Blau even approached me afterwards and without me saying a word she said " Oh sorry I couldn't hear you because your son was screaming so loud" and did a little laugh before walking away. Mind you the people outside the room heard him screaming and me saying to stop 4 times and I was a foot away from her and looking right at her when I said it, plus she also responded to me in the room, so she definitely heard me. My son was so sad when we left and my son is a tough kid and I do not baby him, but we will never go back to her again. And I will definitely be reporting her and I'm not a petty person or someone who constantly makes bad reviews on things but I suggest you think twice about taking your kids here because if she wouldn't stop with a child gagging, coughing, screaming and psychically trying to fight WITH my requests to stop, imagine if you are not in the room. I see there are reviews of her doing this with other kids too.

We saw Dr Blau for a second opinion and were very pleased with her gentle and soft demeanor and her bedside manner with our daughter. She was very considerate and although the recommended treatment plan didn’t change, she did share additional information with me that helped to ultimately inform our decision.

The office staff were friendly and answered a million questions for me. Definitely recommended as an option for kids dental care!
