Please do not use These people. I was a long time customer, and recently they found a way to charge me over double what they quoted me. Due to a glitch in my insurance that I do not understand, because I do not work in the field, the quote that their receptionist gave me verbally was over doubled after I done the work. I trusted them to help guide me in the right direction on what decision to make, and they completely took advantage of me.

They quoted me $2800 for crowns and after I had to work done and pay the $2800 cash, they told me I still hold another $2400. After I grabbed enough, they dropped it down to 1400. All I want to say is I trusted these people to help me make the right decision, and they completely took advantage of me due to me not understanding how insurance works

GREAT PLACE! The girls at the front desk are very friendly. The hygienist are very personable and make you feel very comfortable during the cleaning experience. Great building and very clean environment. The dentist is very friendly and very professional and makes sure you leave with what you need and what you need to know about your teeth! Best dentist in the east and south end!

I have been shadowing as a dental assistant at both locations and am also a patient. I am incredibly impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of the doctors and the staff. The patients are consistently commenting on the kind chair side manner and how much they appreciate procedure explanation.

I have also noticed that appointments always seem to run on time. Many of my family and friends are now patients of Gerlach Family Dentistry!

I visited the Woodlawn office for a cleaning and intermittent tooth pain, after being referred to them by one of my friends. The receptionist, who I spoke with on the phone, was very friendly and listened as I explained the location of the pain that I was experiencing. I made an appointment and was greeted with a warm and professional receptionist when I arrived. The cleaning by the hygienist was painless, even though I have sensitive teeth.

She did a great job! The assistant x-rayed the area of my tooth pain and when the speaking to the Dentist, he found a small cavity in my tooth. He was extremely professional and he gave me the option to fill the tooth at that point, or, I could think about it and schedule a future appointment. He did not pressure me into a decision, which I really appreciated. I opted to have the tooth filled at that visit and he did a superb job.

I had never had such a stress-free and pain-free experience at a dentist! I even received a call back from their staff a few days later asking me how I was doing and thanking me for choosing to come to their Woodlawn office. I would highly recommend Gerlach Family Dentistry!
