I’ve been coming to this dentist all my life! My dad has brung me with him yearly. When i’m with him there’s always big smiles and big greetings as they are familiar with us. Now that I am being seen as an adult & arriving alone I see they aren’t so friendly after all. When scheduling my appointment over the phone the reception had bit of an attitude.

Once I arrived for my appointment, I didn’t receive a friendly greeting or let alone a simple greeting. There was an issue with my insurance (ON THEIR END) & just for the receptionist to make a few calls to verify it she clearly has a attitude. If staff does not like their job they should LEAVE instead of having an attitude with PATIENTS/CUSTOMERS !

I’ve been going to this dental office since I was in elementary school with my mom. Now I’m older and the lightskin bug eyed receptionists mean mugs me when I walk in. There’s another newer dark skin receptionist and she’s just as nasty and mean. You greet them and they just stare at you like you have a 6 heads. It’s uncomfortable.

Anyway I found a new dentist and will not be coming here anymore. I really liked my dentist and the dental techs here and I hate that I had to part ways. Receptionist sets the tone because that’s the first person you have to interact with. They need to work in the back away from the public because they’re unpleasant.

I have been coming here since childhood and have never received the kind of service I have received recently. I have now made three separate appointments, taking time off from work for each. The first two appointments, I was told there was an issue with my insurance the day before the appointment. The third attempt at an appointment, I made it a point to ask the receptionist if the insurance information was up to date.

She initially did not want to check the status and I pretty much had to insist that she do her due diligence to check because i do not want to be informed the day before, that there is an issue. After asking multiple times she checked and told me everything looks ok, only to call me today saying once again that there is an issue. This is super inconvenient and unfortunate because from what i remember the dental hygienist and dentists have always been great. I hope this process is something that they can reassessed and find a more effective way of managing patients.

I remember when they would call and remind patients about appointments and now, this. Disappointed.

Today Monday Feb 12th, 2024. I came in to see the dentist because I was having a tooth ache. Last year in October 23 I did a cleaning and the receptionist needed approval from my insurance for further work. I have been calling the dentist in November, December and January. The rude receptionist is telling me that I should be the one calling my insurance for the approval. As I said I am having a tooth ache and needed to be seen.

The receptionist and her sister are very rude do not know how to talk to customers. I did let the Dentist know. Plus, I had the approval how long and they failed to communicate that to me even though I kept calling all these months. Kudos to the 2 Dental technicians Jackie and Kamela who was very accommodating, pleasant, funny and professional also to the Dentist who fit me in his busy schedule. I find the ladies at the front desk are rude, unprofessional and do not know how to talk to the clients.
