2025: Besides checking my teeth, Dr Tarasenko always checks in to see how I'm doing and how I'm feeling and Sylwia is an absolute sweetheart with her thoughtfulness and caring nature. As someone who is chronically ill and sees specialists constantly, going to this dentist is the only time I'm not anxious at all. I still look forward to my appointments even after all these years because everyone there is so sweet and understanding. I feel very lucky that I found them when I first moved to NY.

2017: This sounds odd about going to see the dentist but I have to say how much I love going to this office. The staff is so caring and friendly and Dr Illya always goes above and beyond with your care and explaining everything step by step. It always feels like family when I'm there. I remember the first time I went to his office for a routine cleaning because it's been a while and the x-ray showed that I needed to have my wisdom teeth removed (I've been putting that off for a long LONG time!).

He did the procedure same day and it was painless. They were also kind enough to provide me with their cell number in case I had any questions after hours or needed anything over the weekend. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place!

My first visit to Dr. Tarasenko was a pleasant experience. My dental hygienist Sylwia gave me a very thorough dental cleaning. The Gowanus Dental clinic has the latest modern dental equipment and the staff are very helpful and friendly. I also had two fillings done on my molars by Dr. Tarensko today.

He was very fast and efficient. He's very experienced and I trust his skills. Cool guy too. Nice free swag.

I started going to Dr. Tarasenko on the recommendation of my wife and entire friend group and loved the experience as much as they did. Everyone at the office is great, it's clean and modern, and Dr.

Tarasenko is clear and honest (he's never pushed for me to have work done, even when others in the area had). In fact, he spotted a noteworthy sinus problem in one of my X-rays and referred me to a great ENT. I highly recommend making him your dentist!
