Today I took a last minute appointment to get my teeth cleaned - just cleaned. But Dr Sem insisted I get a full mouth of x-rays which is very costly. When I said no - just cleaning she told me she could not accept me under her “care”. Now I have been Dr Newman’s patient there for years so I had no desire or need to be under Sem’s care.

I had no complaints but Sem denied my care (the cleaning) and told me to find another dentist. What a racket - bullying elderly patients into getting expensive x-rays then denying them basic cleaning. I am 76 on a fixed income and cannot be bullied by a dentist or anyone else into spending money I do not have for unnecessary procedures.

As a long-time patient of this practice, I was a little apprehensive when I learned I would not be able to see my regular Dr. for an urgent dental issue. I hadn't had routine care in ten years, and I was quite nervous. However, my worries were immediately put to rest. Dr. Sem and her assistant were absolutely wonderful.

They were so understanding and kind, with zero judgment about my lapse in regular dental visits. I truly appreciated their compassionate approach. Dr. Sem addressed my urgent problem quickly and efficiently, and took the time to give me a complete checkup, explaining everything thoroughly and creating a plan to address all of my dental needs. Her attention to detail and thoughtful approach made me feel very comfortable and confident in her expertise. Her assistant was so welcoming and friendly, and she immediately put me at ease.

I enjoyed talking with her. Overall, my experience was exceptional. I highly recommend Hatboro Dental Center to anyone looking for a skilled, compassionate, and patient-centered team.
