Dr. Nicholas Ritzcovan, a dentist in Ridgefield, CT, is the head of Hometown family dentistry. Dr. Ritzcovan, who grew up in Somers, New York, served in the U.S. Marine Corps, rising from Private to Major before pursuing dentistry. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and completed his residency at the Veteran's Administration in Castle Point, New York. After working in a large group practice, he realized his dream of purchasing a practice in his adopted hometown of Ridgefield in 2018. The practice, formerly owned by Dr. James Finklea, was renamed "Hometown Dental" to reflect Dr. Ritzcovan's goal of making patients feel comfortable and "at home." The clinic at 31 Bailey Ave offers a comprehensive array of dental services for the entire family. These services include general dentistry such as routine exams, cleanings, and tooth extractions.
