I have been going to Dr. Wharton for over 5 years, I have had bridge work and crowns done by him and the work has been excellent. He has a very friendly and professional staff. I am constantly receiving compliments on the bridge work. I will not let anyone else clean my teeth because his hygienist (Jackie ) is the best.

I had two chipped front teeth that another dentist tried to repair multiple times but the fill material would fall / break off a few days later every time. I showed the chipped teeth to Dr David Irby and he said he was confident that he could permanently repair them, so I made an appointment. The receptionist Pam and the dental assistant Nicole couldn’t be nicer and more warmly professional. Dr Irby took significantly more time and care than the prior dentist and when he was finished my teeth looked perfect.

The chipped teeth were front teeth so I had been a little self conscious about smiling - now my smile is back! But, would the fix last? Well I’m writing this review more than 2 months after my October tooth repair appointment and my teeth still look perfect! Exactly like my own teeth - you can’t tell a repair was done. I couldn’t be happier and I highly recommend Dr Irby and his team to anyone needing state of the art dental care from a friendly caring practice.

Dr. Ramsey has done three crowns for me as well as some other minor work. I have been so happy with the work he has done. Not only is he a perfectionist but I experienced no pain whatsoever. He is extremely gentle. He is by far the best dentist I have ever had. I highly recommend him.

Wharton has been our family dentist since he came to Roanoke in the 1970's. His care is consistently excellent and he has been wonderful with our kids. They are now bringing their kids to him! He is caring, always following up after difficult procedures and is a first class gentleman. We recommend him highly.

He has also chosen well his new associate Dr. Irby who will be able to add to the quality expected of this practice.
