Dr. Nelson recommended a significant amount of work that totaled over $1000 dollars after insurance, in total 8 or 9 fillings. I went to another highly rated dentist in West Seattle (>4.8 stars, many reviews) for a second opinion, and was recommended only 2 fillings which cost $120 in total. It felt like they were prioritizing making money rather than recommending the dental care I needed.

Dr. Nelson and her staff are great! The hygienist, Sarah, made me feel at ease and was so caring and personable. Dr. Nelson took the time to answer my questions and did not pressure me on anything. I really felt welcome here and look forward to coming back.

Dr. Kelly Nelson and her staff were far more thorough than any other dentist I've been to, which was greatly appreciated! I really feel like each person I talked to took their time, rather than rushing me along. They were also able to answer questions and share potential solutions regarding a number of long-term dental concerns I've had that other dentists have not really had answers for.

Some dentists I've been to in the past have felt like they were possibly putting profit over quality care at times, but that is the opposite of how it felt here. I was even able to get a prescription to try to help with preventative care since my teeth seem to be cavity-prone, and my dentists in the past have always told me there's nothing else that could be done beyond my normal brushing and flossing. So, I very highly recommend!

Kelly apart is the sense of community she has fostered in West Seattle. When she refers you to another professional, you can rest assured you're in great hands. Heather at the front desk always makes sure you feel at home when you walk in and when you are getting scheduled. Highly recommend!!!!
